Burr walnut Dutch bombé secretaire display cabinet. The cabinet’s top has a classic Dutch Rococo bonnet top with a carved central motif flanked by plinths designed for displaying porcelain, busts or figures. Followed by a single panelled door with original hand blown glass. The bombe shaped bureau base with serpentine canted corners stands on hairy paw feet, inside of the bureau, fitted with stepped drawers ,writing surface and desk well. The desk is flanked by panel doors with shelving. Circa:1790
